§ I — Welcome
Welcome.
At our private cardiology practice in Berlin-Moabit, near Bellevue Palace, you receive personal, unhurried care — from preventive heart check-ups and the evaluation of new symptoms to the long-term management of chronic heart disease.
You are always seen by the same doctor. Appointments are deliberately scheduled to allow time for your questions. After each examination, you receive a detailed written report in clear language, together with specific recommendations for your next steps.
§ II — Specialties
Our specialties.
We cover the full spectrum of non-invasive cardiology. An appointment with us is worthwhile in these and similar situations:
- A preventive heart check-up: when you have no known heart condition and would like to know how your heart is doing.
- Elevated cardiovascular risk: high blood pressure, diabetes, elevated blood lipids, or many years of smoking.
- Family history: cardiovascular disease or early cardiac death in your family.
- Known coronary artery disease: after a heart attack, stent implantation, or bypass surgery.
- Rhythm complaints: palpitations, skipped beats, pauses, or an irregular pulse.
- Atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias: newly diagnosed or in ongoing follow-up.
- Heart failure: for initial diagnosis and long-term care.
- Heart valve disease: before a planned operation or in follow-up care.
- Unclear symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, swollen legs, dizziness, or declining exercise capacity.
§ III — Practice
About the practice.
Dr. med. Ramona Rus is a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology, with an additional qualification in internal intensive care medicine. More than twenty years of clinical experience — many of them in the intensive care unit of the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin (German Heart Center Berlin, DHZB) — shape the work of this practice.
We are a small, close-knit team. That means short waiting times, familiar faces at the front desk, and a setting where even the more complex questions get the time they need.
Should further diagnostics or an invasive procedure become necessary, we refer you promptly to experienced colleagues in our network.
